Role Overview

We’re looking for a digitally-savvy and strategically-minded Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team for a 1-year maternity leave contract. This role is all about optimizing digital marketing systems to support lead generation, course enrollment, and audience growth. You’ll also play a key role in managing marketing communications, supporting program growth, and maintaining visual brand consistency across platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Magnet & Landing Page Setup
  • Support and implement high-converting lead magnets (eBooks, challenges, webinars, etc.).
  • Design and optimize landing pages (using WordPress) with compelling CTAs.
  • Integrate forms, automation, and email capture mechanisms to grow and segment the list.
Sales Funnel Creation & Optimization
  • Build and maintain evergreen and time-sensitive funnels for course launches, webinars, and lead magnets.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor user flow, drop-off points, and conversion rates across funnel stages.
  • Optimize email sequences and follow-up campaigns to nurture leads effectively.
  • Implement retargeting strategies to re-engage non-converting visitors.
SEO & Content Optimization
  • Perform on-page SEO audits and implement best practices across blog posts, landing pages, and the website.
  • Conduct keyword research and build content strategies aligned with search intent and seasonal trends.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize existing pages and blog posts for improved rankings and traffic.
  • Track and analyze SEO performance metrics.
Affiliate & Graduate Program Growth
  • Manage and grow the Wild Rose College affiliate program, including onboarding new affiliates, maintaining communications, and providing promotional assets.
  • Track affiliate performance and optimize strategies to increase reach and conversions.
  • Support graduate engagement initiatives, including highlighting success stories and amplifying grad-led projects or contributions.
Design & Content Support
  • Use Canva to create branded graphics, social media visuals, email banners, and promotional assets.
  • Maintain and organize a library of visual content for marketing use.
  • Assist in creating visual assets for webinars, lead magnets, and digital products.
Administrative & Marketing Inbox Support
  • Manage the marketing inbox, triaging inquiries, redirecting messages, and responding where appropriate.
  • Support the Marketing & Education Manager with administrative tasks including content scheduling, asset management, testimonial tracking, and reporting.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual and written communications.
Email Marketing & Copywriting
  • Write compelling, on-brand copy for email campaigns, funnels, lead magnets, and promotions.
  • Assist with drafting and scheduling email newsletters, course launch campaigns, and automated sequences.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and tone across platforms and audience segments.
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative campaign ideas that drive engagement and conversions.
 
Qualifications
Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with hands-on experience in funnel building and SEO.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented. 
  • Experience with WordPress and landing page optimization.
  • Strong understanding of sales funnels and email marketing workflows.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and practices.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in campaign tracking and performance reporting.
  • Passion for wellness, herbalism, or online education.
Preferred:
  • Experience with ActiveCampaign or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Background in the wellness, herbal, or online education space.
  • Proficiency in Meta and Google Ads Manager.
